Jazz Etcetera
with Kyle Simpson
Mondays from 2-4 pm

Jazz Etcetera is a radio program that looks at what modern jazz is and what music influences contemporary jazz artists.  Artists usually played during this show are Wynton Marsalis, Chris Potter, Dave Holland, and Pat Metheny. Jazz Etcetera also displays combinations of jazz with contemporary concert/film music, such as Steve Reich, Michael Giacchino, and John Williams. Through creative and intriguing programming, Jazz Etcetera maintains that jazz is a genre increasingly more difficult to categorize.  Tune in to 91.7 fm WNJR every Monday from 2-4pm to listen to Jazz Etcetera!
