Source: V LoveToday until Friday is V-week, there will be a week long radio show discussing different issues that women deal with. The show will be panels made up of different students, and faculty talking about their experiences and what they have learned throughout their lives about the topics. On Friday and Saturday there will be the performances of the Vagina Monologues to finish off the week. The Vagina Monologues are individual monologues written by different women talking about the sometimes humorous, sometimes taboo parts of being a woman in the world today.
The schedule for the V-week panels:
Tuesday 4:00pm-5:00pm - Beauty standards and body image
Thursday 4:00pm-5:00pm - Intersectional feminism through identities (race/ethnicity, ableism, sexual orientation, etc.)
Friday 6:00pm-7:00pm - Media representation (film, TV, music, etc)
All of them will be on WNJR 91.7 fm!
