Our jazz Hi-Rotation list on WNJR for July is dedicated to the supreme singers of the past. This group had great popular success while still exercising their ability to swing with the great musicians  in jazz. These singers also had vast catalogs of recorded music that spanned decades. Phrasing melodies so that the lyrics communicated their story was their highest art. Enjoy these treasures.
