Vamos Muchachos

Make sure to tune in every Tuesday at 3p.m. to experience Spanish music from Latin America and Spain!

Vamos Muchachos is the first Spanish speaking show on WNJR, hosted by Amparo Alpañés (Spanish faculty). Every Tuesday at 3 p.m., tune in for one hour of Spanish music while we comment on Spanish news and events, all in Spanish of course.

Expect to hearRicky Martin, Shakira, Juanes, Maná, El Canto del Loco, Julio Iglesias, Alejandro Sanz along with interviews with members from the W&J community: students who have been abroad, students from Spain or Latin America who are visiting students, members of the Washington, PA community, and students from SPN309 present their opinion on a book or movie that has had a great impact on their lives.

The intention of Vamos Muchachos is to bring the Spanish speaking community and the students of Spanish at W&J together by promoting the Hispanic cultures and musics and creating awareness of how enriching all Hispanic cultures are.
