Hendrix was born in Seattle, Washington in 1942. He learned how to play guitar when he was a teenager later becoming one of the most famous guitarists in the world. But before rising to fame in the 1960s, Hendrix played backup for talent, such as Same Cooke and B. B. King. Hendrix passed away at the young age of 27, but left a permanent mark not just on music but on the world. For more information about him go here.
