Happy Monday from your favorite Indie Music Director!  I hope you're not too disheveled or sleep deprived, because I need you to listen up!

Do I have any Death Cab for Cutie fans out there?
If so, I have great news!  Their new album Kintsugi will be available tomorrow, March 31st!

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of filling the cracks in broken ceramic works with gold, in order to "highlight" the flaws rather than hide them.   This represents the compassionate aesthetic philosophy in which damage and wear are embraced as part of an object's history, adding to the object's aesthetic value.  This might relate to what's going on in Death Cab right now, as this is the first album release since the departure of the groups founding guitarist, keyboardist and producer Chris Walla.

How poetic is that?

Check out the emotionally charged album that's streaming now on DCFC's website
http://deathcabforcutie.com/home/ where this album cover is taken from.  You can also check out their upcoming tour dates and satisfy your merchandising needs, along with other cool features.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you have a great day, week, month!  Remember, we only have about a month of classes left, you can do it!  Go out with a bang and listen to Death Cab while you do it!
