Programming updates

Jazz fans: The good news is that Big Daddy Jazz Radio has expanded to three hours, now airing on Friday evenings 7:00 to 10:00 pm. The bad news is that It's a 'Burgh Thing: The Pittsburgh Jazz Connection (Friday 9:00 to 11:00 am) is going on hiatus. We wish Jonathan Miles well and hope he'll be able to return to the airwaves before too long.

Hip hop and R&B fans: Club Dub lives again! Sweetness, last heard this past spring on The Sound of 412, will be hosting the radio party every Friday 10:00 pm to 12:00 midnight.

Johnny Morgan fans: Oldies Jukebox has expanded to two hours for the rest of the summer, every Thursday 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

Also: The latest seasons of Radiolab and The Moth are now underway. State of the Re:Union will start later this summer. Check the schedule for air times. The summer schedule also includes a block on Friday afternoon of re-broadcasts of our weekend syndicated programs (Allegheny Front, This Way Out, Radiolab, The Moth, and Live Wire).

Soon: Big Daddy's Big Gay Jukebox! Hosted by Patrick Arena and produced by students in the WNJR studios.
