An Interview with Rabbi Jeffrey S. Myers (October 26-27)

91.7 FM WNJR Washington and the Department of Communication Arts at Washington & Jefferson College are proud to present:

An Interview with Rabbi Jeffrey S. Myers
(October 26-27)

On October 27, 2018 “the massacre during Shabbat morning services at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pa. took 11 lives. Since that time, Rabbi Jeffrey S. Myers has been an important voice in our national discourse, promoting a simple but powerful message: we are stronger together,” (W&J Weekly, Week of September 2, 2019).

Please join us on this sorrowing anniversary for an exclusive interview with Rabbi Jeffrey S. Myers from the Tree of Life Synagogue in Squirrel Hill. This is the first college radio interview that Rabbi Myers has given. This interview will be aired in its entirety on 91.7 FM WNJR during the following dates/times:

Saturday, October 26: 1:00-2:00PM
Saturday, October 26: 7:00-8:00PM
Sunday, October 27: 1:00-2:00PM
Sunday, October 27: 7:00-8:00PM

The broadcast will also be streamed live at WNJR.org. After the interview, stay tuned for three musical selections personally chosen by Rabbi Myers. This interview was conducted in the 91.7 FM WNJR studio at Washington & Jefferson College on September 3, 2019 by:

Colleen Kelley, Junior, student in Communication Arts
Joe Franjione, Senior, student in Communication Arts and Business Administration
Stevie Berberick, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Communication Arts

The Department of Communication Arts would like to thank Rabbi Jeffrey S. Myers for providing our students with this opportunity, and for sharing his message of hope, healing, and resilience with the W&J community.
