Bleachers Anniversary
Four years ago this Tuesday, Bleachers released the music video for their first single "I Wanna Get Better" a song that topped the Billboard alternative songs list. The song was written and sung by Bleachers front man Jack Antonoff who has also written songs for Lorde, Taylor Swift, Pink, Charlie XCX, and many more. Antonoff was also one of the coordinators and producers of the soundtrack for the new movie "Love, Simon". Bleachers also just released a music video for the first track released from that soundtrack, "Alfie's Song (Not So Typical Love Song)" here is the video for that song as well.

Song Highlight: Freaky Friday!
Song Highlight: Freaky Friday Lil Dicky ft. Chris Brown
Recently this month Lil Dicky and Chris Brown revealed the most talked about video "Freaky Friday." The song is a direct relation to the movie reference, in this case, Lil Dicky and Chris Brown switched bodies and as listeners and viewers we got a comedic mini-movie and moral lesson about self love as well as a hyperbolic perspective of their life. If you need a pick me up or quick laugh go onto YouTube and watch this great video!

Artist Spotlight: Hayden James
Source: The HipPocket |
Hayden James is an Australian singer, song-writer, and producer. Hayden James debuted his first album in 2013 and since then has toured with many popular artists and played at music festivals including Splendor in the Grass. One of my favorite songs by Hayden is titled "Something About You" which went gold in Australia in 2014. I stumbled upon a more recent release titled "Numb" which perfectly exemplifies Hayden's style. Hayden co-wrote a number of songs on Katy Perry's Witness album and he is currently working on a new album. Be sure to tune in to hear Hayden James and other artists like him at 91.7FM WNJR!
