What's Up DubJay?



ANCHOR SPLASH
On Saturday, April 5th, Delta Gamma is hosting their annual Anchor Splash event at Henry Memorial pool from noon to 4.  Run by the sisters of the W&J Delta Gamma Chapter, Anchor Splash is a friendly competition between the fraternities and sororities of campus in a series of relay races and choreographed water dances.  Last year the event raised nearly four thousand dollars, all proceeds benefited Service for Sight.  Admission to Anchor Splash is two dollars.

DUBJAY CELEBRATES EARTH DAY
All throughout April join W&J in both Washington and Pittsburgh to celebrate Earth Day!  Volunteer opportunities are available with Highland Ridge Community and Pittsburgh Botanical Garden on April 5th, 12th, and 19th.  For more information please check out the Volunteer Program page.
  
ANOTHER RASHOMON
From Thursday April 10th to Saturday April 12th, the Washington & Jefferson Student Theatre Company will be performing Another Rashomon, written and directed by Professor Dan Shaw.  Showtimes for Another Rashomon are 7:30pm with a 2:00pm matinee on Saturday.  Doors open a half hour prior to the event; admission is free.

 THIS WEEKEND'S EVENTS
Friday April 4th:
  • Stop by the Campus Circle at 10:30 AM to Pie a Field Hockey Player!  All proceeds go towards Relay for Life to fight cancer!
  • Stick around the Campus Circle for Feel Good Friday, starting at 11:30!
  • Cupcake Decorating, part of the SAIL DIY series, will be held in the Fireplace Lounge at 6:30PM!
  • Drop by the HUB for Karaoke Night at Monticello's starting at 9:00!

SUPPORT OUR PRESIDENTS!
Friday April 4th:
  • Men's Tennis takes on Mount Aloysius at the Swanson Courts at 3:30PM
Saturday April 5th:
  • The Baseball team holds a double header against Thiel at Ross Park, starting at 1:00PM
  • The Intramural Coed Street Hockey Tournament will be held in the basketball court at 1:00PM
Sunday April 6th:
  • The Softball team goes face to face with Mount Union for a double header at Brooks Park starting at 1:00PM
