Today, November 7th, in 1943 Roberta Joan "Joni" Mitchell (nee Anderson)
was born in Alberta, Canada! Joni Mitchell started her music career by
playing in different clubs around Canada, then she moved to the United
States in 1965 and started touring. Her debut album "Song to a Seagull"
was released in 1968. Mitchell's music helped define a generation with
songs like "Big Yellow Taxi Cab" and "Woodstock" which were popular
among the "hippie" generation. Her 1971 album "Blue" was put on Rolling Stone's
list of the "Top 500 Greatest Albums of All Time" coming in at number
